Terms of Service

By creating an account or using FloSchools, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of a school or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

FloSchools provides a cloud-based school management platform including attendance tracking, fee management, assessments, performance analytics, and communication tools. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time; material changes to paid functionality will be communicated in advance.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for keeping account credentials confidential.
• School administrators are responsible for assigning staff roles and permissions appropriately.
• You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to access other schools' data, or interfere with the platform's operation.
• You must have the legal right (including any required consents) to enter student and parent data into the platform.

You must be old enough to hold a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and any account must be created by an adult authorized to act for the school. Keep your sign-in method current: if you sign in through a third-party provider, losing access to that account may lock you out unless you have another sign-in method or contact us.

Paid plans are billed in advance per student, per month, according to the billing cycle you select (termly or annual). Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with at least 30 days' notice.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

Where a plan is offered through a third-party marketplace or app store, the billing, renewal, and cancellation terms of that store also apply, and the store's stated price is the price you pay. We do not receive your payment card details — payment processing is handled by our payment provider.

You retain all rights to the data your school enters into FloSchools. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the service. You can export your data at any time and request deletion when you close your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious code, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without written permission.
• Reverse engineer the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Use the service to store or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
• Resell access to the service without our written consent.
• Use the service in a way that violates the terms of any third-party service it connects to, or attempt to bypass our usage limits.

FloSchools relies on and integrates with services provided by others, including cloud hosting, authentication and single sign-on, payment processing, and email delivery. Your use of those integrations may also be governed by the provider's own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.

• If you sign in with a third-party identity provider, you authorize us to receive the basic account information that provider releases to us. We request only the minimum needed to identify you and do not request access to unrelated data.
• Data we receive from a provider's APIs is used only to provide and improve the features described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
• You can withdraw that access at any time through the provider's permissions page. Doing so may prevent you from signing in until you set another method or contact us.
• We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of services we do not control, and we may add, replace, or remove integrations as the product evolves.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where reasonably possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by events outside our reasonable control.

FloSchools, its logo, and the platform's software and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends and the data deletion timeline in our Privacy Policy applies.

You may also close your account outright at any time. Where a subscription was purchased through a third-party store, you must cancel it there as well to stop being billed.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
